A blend of Merlot and Gamaret grapes, Premium Rouge is matured for 12 months in oak barrels. Deep garnet-red in colour, it has an intense nose of extremely ripe, even candied, dark-fleshed red fruit. Aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry and plum are punctuated by a touch of spice and wood. The attack is fruity and sweet, followed by a sensation of richness and depth. The tannins give this wine for laying down a charming, round and persistent finish.
